These flavorful beef fajitas with lime zest and chile are great for a filling meal. The soft beef is grilled with charred bell peppers after being marinated in a zesty lime and chile sauce, and it is then served with a light black bean salad. It's a great and substantial meal.

Ingredients

1.5 pounds of finely cut beef sirloin
4 bell pepper sliced
1 red onion sliced
3 clove garlic minced
2 tablespoon olive oil
0.25 cup lime juice
tablespoon chili powder
teaspoon cumin
teaspoon paprika
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.25 teaspoon black pepper
tortilla for serving
lime wedge for serving
cilantro for garnish

About 80 minutes to complete.

Combine the lime juice, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper in a big bowl. Sliced meat should be added to the marinade and coated. Allow it to marinade for at least 30 minutes.

In a big skillet, warm up 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the red onion and bell pepper slices, and sauté for 5 to 6 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly browned. Take out of the skillet, then set it aside.

Heat a further tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet. Once aromatic, add the minced garlic and simmer for 1 minute. Add the beef that has been marinated, and cook it for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches the desired degree of doneness.

Along with the black bean salad and roasted bell peppers, serve the meat fajitas. Each tortilla should be warmed before adding some steak and bell peppers to it to make the fajitas. Add the black bean salad on top, then add the cilantro. Before serving, squeeze some fresh lime juice over the fajitas.
